There's a rumour on many trading floors, including mine, that no trader has ever been succesful without reading 'Reminiscence of a Stock Operator'. It's the bible of trading.

Does anyone have recommendation on good day trading books?
I have Toni Turners books which provide a good foundation and Alan Farley's book which has good ideas but read like a zen manuscript.

You gotta think there's been a lot of smart money waiting in the wings. I think all the hedge and mutual funds have almost finished puking up all the scared 401K money. Question is, have the big money been buying the down side and when will the big retail traders start buying?

I bought NOV for 34 bucks today, looking for a return in a couple days, if not over night.

Ouch! I got hurt today. For some reason I was thinking the market would respond well to the vote. Makes no sense! I use wave theory and the .618/.382 ratio. I also like to see a stock with a lot of momentum for the day.

I only trade the NDX/NQ, entering at impluse or support/resistence by EMA's.
Can we share what set of indicators we use?

I'm a value investor turned day trader by this insane market. My style has been to find popular stocks that are rising fast, I then buy into them around noon during a low volume pullback and hold for hours to a few days. Any other styles out there?
